Cheryl currently lives and works on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo, BC, Canada. She travelled extensively in her late teens and early twenties. As a result, she is globally minded and interested in Arts and Culture from around the world.
Cheryl is a writer who is focussed mainly in fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry. She is the recipient of the 2017 Gisele Merlet Award at Vancouver Island University; awarded for passion and promise in creative writing. She spent two years as the Arts and Entertainment Editor for Navigator Student Press.
Her first poetry chapbook is available for purchase from Amazon.ca. When not writing, Cheryl can often be found frequenting local coffee shops and craft breweries with her partner or snuggled up on the couch with her rescue cat George.
